This session compares the online components of Ventures (from Cambridge) and Project Success (from Pearson) to discover what affordances are available for LINC classes. Would the use of either of these resources be easy for the teacher? For the students? Would these resources assist with extending out-of-class learning?

Kay teaches in the MA TESOL and TESOL Certificate programs at TWU.  Her research interests are the intersection of reading and writing, TESOL teacher training, and, of course, grammar!

Andrea Piruzza has taught EAP to international students from around the world, including China, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and India. Currently, she loves being a student again TWU’s MA TESOL program.

Ange Quapp

Ange Quapp is a teacher in an EAP program and an MA TESOL student. Her experience includes various programs in Asia and Mexico and her specialty is standardized testing.

Rachel Thomas

Rachel Thomas is a student at Trinity Western University in the MA TESOL program. She has taught overseas in Asia, specifically with beginners, and is most interested in the area of pronunciation.
