Understanding Mental Health and English Language Learning

This poster presentation is focused on newcomers to countries such as Canada. It attempts to understand cross-cultural perspectives on mental health through the examination of scholarly literature related to mental health issues and EAL learning. Implications are explored and key supports are identified to foster wellbeing in the classroom.
