The Douglas College EAP department has recently developed a new outcomes-based curriculum. This session will provide the background which set the stage for the curriculum change, outline guiding theoretical principles, and explain the steps in the process, as related to the current post-secondary context.

Gordana Sokic is an instructor in the English for academic preparation program at Douglas College. She has been involved in ESL teaching and curriculum development in various contexts.
