BC TEAL has seen many changes over the past half-century and ha and grown and evolved with those changes. This panel of BC TEAL past presidents who served BC TEAL over the past few decades will explore BC TEAL’s past with an eye to understanding how to best position TEAL to serve members in the coming years.


Nick Collins

Nick served as BC TEAL president 1981-1985.  He first taught in Spain in 1964, and over his career, his service to the profession were wide including serving as TESL Canada President and TESOL 2nd Vice-President.

Michael Galli

Michael served as BC TEAL president from 1997-2012 steering BC TEAL through a period of significant renewal and growth.  He currently is the Manager, International Recruitment and Admissions at BCIT.
